Pre-press and proofing

Our purpose built, fully equipped pre-press print studio features up-to-date hardware and current versions of all major software, ensuring that we are ready to receive and process your files with super efficiently.

We operate mac and pc workstations with all the latest major software applications supported. We also have an extensive range of specialist PDF analysis/editing applications to preflight, edit and output your press-ready PDFs.

We run a Heidelberg Prinect pre-press workflow which is integrated fully with our presses to ensure that our proof to print reproduction is absolutely spot on. Our Epson proofers are calibrated to Fogra39 standards using Fogra approved paper stocks.

Once approved, imposed print ready files are output via our Heidelberg Suprasetter to the latest chemistry free B2 and B3 plates. The CIP3 data is generated and automatically sent to the presses for each plate, enabling automatic setting of the ink ducts on the press for any selected job. This reduces make ready times, saves on consumables and ensures colour accuracy from the very first impression. Colour is maintained throughout on press via densitometer readings.
